Dennis Tafoya is the author of the acclaimed novels Dope Thief and The Wolves of Fairmount Park, as well as numerous short stories for web periodicals and print anthologies. He regularly conducts fiction workshops and seminars.
Dennis is taking a limited number of clients for manuscript consultation. He will help writers analyze their work effectively, exploring the ways in which stories are synthesized from the essential building blocks of character development, plot, setting, tone, voice and structure.
He also works with experienced multiple prize-winning writer and editor August Tarrier, who has been teaching, editing and consulting for more than twenty years. August has won many major prizes for her fiction, including Zoetrope All-Story and the Tobias Wolff Awards for short fiction, and has edited dozens of novels, stories, screenplays and nonfiction works, including several NY Times bestsellers.
